Iowa's Promise Youth Grants
Iowa's Promise Youth Grants -- ANNUAL APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FEB. 1

Only youth groups may apply for the Iowa’s Promise Youth Grant program, which is an outgrowth of the 1998 Iowa Summit Initiative and its emphasis on youth and community service.

This program is made possible through a partnership between the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service and Iowa State University Extension. It has been designed to help Iowa youth make a connection between their activities and the larger picture of contributing to fulfilling the Five Promises in their community.

Grants of up to $250 may be requested. DOWNLOAD:

The American Legion of Iowa supports Iowa youth
The Iowa's Promise Youth Grants program recently received a generous donation from The American Legion of Iowa Foundation.  The $3500 grant will be used to support young people wanting to make a difference in their communities. Youth-lead groups may receive funding up to $250 for community based projects.

America's Promise: America's Promise is a collaborative network that builds upon the collective power of communities and partners to help fulfill the Five Promises for every young person in America.
